•America: Texprocess Americas to be Launched in Cooperation with SPESA in 2012
•China: Far-Reaching Cooperation Agreement Signed with CSMA
(From Frankfurt, Germany....)
Messe Frankfurt has gained two important new partners in America and China for its Texprocess concept ━ SPESA (Sewn Products Equipment & Suppliers of the Americas) and CSMA (China Sewing Machinery Association). Detlef Braun, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt:
"The two new strategic alliances underscore the status of Texprocess in Frankfurt as the leading international trade fair for the garment and textile manufacturing industries. And they round-off the worldwide and unanimous support of all relevant markets for our future-oriented trade-fair concept."
Texprocess, Leading International Trade Fair for Processing Textile and Flexible Materials, will be held parallel to Techtextil in Frankfurt am Main for the first time from 24 to 27 May 2011. The conceptual partner of Texprocess is VDMA Garment and Leather Technology.
Elgar Straub, General Manager of VDMA Garment and Leather Technology, welcomes the cooperation agreement with SPESA and CSMA: "As the conceptual partner of Texprocess, we see these alliances as confirmation of the Texprocess concept ? global networking and the change to a biennial cycle of events. In Frankfurt, suppliers have a global platform that perfectly meets the needs of the market today and tomorrow."
•From 2012: Texprocess Americas
The first Texprocess Americas will be held in Atlanta from 24 to 26 April 2012 when around 200 manufacturers of technologies and accessories for processing textile and flexible materials present their products and services to an estimated 8,000 visitors. SPESA EXPO, which used to be held every three years, will be integrated into Texprocess Americas.
The new fair is the ideal platform to make contact with North American processors of technical textiles and Latin American garment manufacturers. About Texprocess Americas, Benton Gardner, SPESA President, says: "The strategic alliance between SPESA and Messe Frankfurt will benefit all suppliers and their customers. We are very excited about the working relationship and the future perspectives it opens up."
•Cooperation with CSMA
CSMA and Messe Frankfurt recently signed far-reaching cooperation agreements for Texpro-cess in Frankfurt. The contract stipulates that CSMA will carry out the exhibitor acquisition work in China as Messe Frankfurt's exclusive partner there. Additionally, the Chinese association will also be responsible for certain aspects of the marketing campaign and visitor advertising.
In return, CSMA will only support one European fair for textile processing ━ Texprocess. Tian Min Yu, Chairman of CSMA: "Messe Frankfurt is a very professional trade fair organiser in the global textile industry. We are very glad to be the supporter for Texprocess. I believe that our cooperation will definitely help boost the interaction and communication between the upstream and downstream of the textile processing industry. " In this connection, VDMA and CSMA have also concluded agreements and want to work more closely together and exchange information in the future.
Texprocess, the leading trade fair for the sector, will present the latest machines, plant, processes and services for the garment and textile processing industries on an area of around 50,000 square metres at Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre from 24 to 27 May 2011.
The range of products and services to be seen will cover all process stages, i.e., from design, cutting, CAD/CAM and processing preparations, via production technologies and processes, to textile logistics, finishing, waste disposal, recycling and environmental protection.
Texprocess is aimed at an audience of visitors from the fields of garment manufacturing, textile processing, technical-textiles processing, trade, handicrafts, services and science and training. Around 25,000 trade visitors are expected to attend Texprocess.
