Chinese Sewing Industry Which Shows The Signs of Recovery

The worldwide depression by the subprime loan problem which originated in U.S. at the end of 2008 brought a very big influence to sewing machine industry, apparel industry and leather industry in the space of a year of 2009.
This depression has exerted a fatal influence for sewing industry which is labor intensive industry. Specially, the sewing factory which was transferred from Taiwan and South Korea to China has infolded into the difficult conditions. The influence of the depression of sewing industry inflicted big influence to the industrial sewing machine manufacturer in Japan, China, Taiwan and South Korea.
In those relations, these manufacturers had to drop half of the production of the sewing machine in one year last year.
Because of that, not only the amount of proceeds in 2009 but also a profit fell drastically, and became a big loss in each company. In these conditions, price competition was intensified in the overseas markets, further, this fact was also spurred on the management aggravation of each company. Because of that, a cut of personnel is done drastically, and it works for the reduction of the expenses, and this depression is tided over at the sewing machine factory and the sewing factory.
Clothes and leather sewing industry exists widely in China, and China also exists as a supply country of the world right now.
In these conditions, U.S. where it is the biggest consumption country of the world is an extreme important country for these sewing factory. As a result, unless demand in U.S. is recovered, there is no way of the recovery of the Chinese sewing industry.
Entering 2010, as Christmas sale in U.S. is an opportunity, the sales in supermarket and mail-order house became rise tendencies. Then, its tendency is continuing, and the order of large quantities is coming to China.
