JIAM 2012 OSAKA Will Be Held in September 19 ~ 22, 2012 in Osaka

Theme: CREATIVE LINKAGE - Innovative Technology for
Prosperous and Comfortable Lifestyle

A celebrated exhibition of international apparel machinery, the Japan International Apparel Machinery Trade Show (JIAM) has been held every three years since 1984 to considerable acclaim from industry participants around the world. The past nine shows have been a great success, showcasing the latest machinery from leading manufacturers in Japan and elsewhere.
With the participation of many Japanese manufacturers, who serve as the driving force of the global apparel machinery industry, JIAM enjoys a high reputation for providing opportunities for people from the textile and apparel industries to network together.
In light of the significant negative impact that the Japanese sewing machinery manufacturing industry has suffered following upheavals in the global economy stemming from the financial crisis in 2008, as well as proposed schedules for similar international trade shows by other organizers, we have decided to hold the upcoming JIAM trade show in the autumn of 2012 in Osaka, the textile center of Japan.
Celebrating its tenth event, JIAM 2012 will invite visitors from all over the world, including Japan and Asian countries, to share worldwide the latest in technological innovations and new offerings from apparel and textile machinery manufacturers.
Under the exhibition's theme of "CREATIVE LINKAGE - Innovative Technology for a Prosperous and Comfortable Lifestyle", JIAM 2012 aims to achieve collaboration / integration with related industries by organizing joint exhibits of materials and processed products, in addition to displays of innovative products featuring brand-new technology.
The JIAM international trade show will serve as a fascinating "platform for the textile and fashion industries," where visitors can make new discoveries and find the key to further businesses development.
